Our paths crossed in July 2023, at a mutual friend’s birthday party – thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Maria. It was a summer afternoon and, the moment our eyes met, something special happened. The day after the party we exchanged our first words, and from then on, the conversation flowed effortlessly and naturally.

A few days later, we arranged our first dinner. We remember that night well: we talked about music, cinema, traditions, and discovered that, even though we came from different countries, we shared so much in common. We felt connected from the very first moment and realized we had the same passion for exploring the world with a backpack on our shoulders.

Our first trip together took us to Egypt. There could not have been a more magical and mystical place to begin this adventure as a couple. It was aboard a boat on the Aswan River, in Cairo, that our bond grew even stronger, and every journey since then has only deepened what we feel for each other.

On one of those trips, in a special and sacred place in Petra, we took an important step: the marriage proposal. Today, we know that our story is built on simple yet profoundly powerful things: the thrill of discovering new places, the joy of sharing experiences, and the comfort of seeing the world through the same eyes.

On June 6th, 2026, our love will bring together family and friends from different corners of the world to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter. And our journey… is only just beginning.
